AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL ACCOMPANIES WITH THE VIETNAM CHILDREN'S FUND FOR SUPPORTING PRETERM BABIES TO THE “STARTING LINE”
“Supporting premature babies in Vietnam” is a collaborative project between The National Fund for Vietnamese Children and American International Hospital (AIH) in order to raise awareness of premature babies, aiming to reduce mortality in newborns and support them to have better care.
A race for little angels’ lives
For every child, being born and grown up healthily is a happiness. However, there are still some children who have to race with their own will in order to reach that seemingly simple happiness. This is a challenging race that preterm infants have to face with prior to arrive the "starting line" of their lives.
Preterm birth is a leading cause of neonatal death. In Viet Nam, it is estimated that approximate 17,000 babies die within their first 28 days and 103,500 babies are born preterm annually. Nowadays, caring and nourishing preterm babies have been outstandingly advanced with state-of-the-art technical means which provide more chance for neonatal survival and well-being.
Premature baby survival rate is very high if effective care is provided. However, premature baby nourishment is a long-term arduous battle that require the community and society support so that the preterm babies have the opportunity to continue their life journey.
American International Hospital joins hands in Vietnamese premature baby support.
With the sympathy of health care provider in term of medical ethics, and acting for reducing infant mortality rate to 8/1000 by 2030 of the Ministry of Health, American International Hospital (AIH) accompanies the Vietnam Children's Fund " Vietnamese premature baby support", in order to enhance public awareness and extend support for life saving opportunity of vulnerbale vulnerable biophores.
The signing ceremony of a Memorandum between Vietnam Children's Fund and American International Hospital (AIH) has been made on October 24, 2022. Accordingly, AIH will take 1,000,000 VND from revenue deduction of each delivery case from October 24, 2022 to late February 28, 2023 in order to donate to the Vietnam Children's Fund for " Premature baby support". Donation amount will be used for training activities, health education and support premature babies for better care conditions.
Joinwith AIH to support the “ extraordinary race” to the“ starting line”
There are more than 100,000 preterm babies annually competing with their life. These babies face many risks of serious health problems and complications that affect their growth in the future.
The lives of premature babies may not be started without your assistance. Every healthy baby born at AIH is a sharing, a glimmer of hope that giving life to unfortunate premature babies.
