AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL (AIH) AFFIRMS ITS MISSION IN PROVIDING AMERICAN STANDARD HEALTHCARE SERVICES THROUGH CONTINUING COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH JOHNS HOPKINS MEDICINE INTERNATIONAL

On Dec 4^th2022, AIH has officially re-signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, towards perfection of procedures, standardizing the quality of medical services and enhancing American standard treatment outcome. In the next cooperation plan, AIH continues to approach and receive support from the leading U.S. healthcare system in training, sharing knowledge, technique and technology in medical examination and treatment in order to improve the quality of patient treatment.
 
AIH proudly to be the unique hospital in Vietnam is chosen by Johns Hopkins Medicine International for collaboration. After the first cooperation agreement signed in July 2018, with consultancy support from JHMI, AIH has constantly improved the quality of medical services and clinical training through 5 key areas including quality and patient safety, clinical care, clinical activity, infection control, and patient referral to Johns Hopkins’ Hospital and Health System in the US for complicated cases which cannot be treated nationally.




 
In order to respond patient belief and extend cooperation success over the past 4 years, AIH continue to accompany with Johns Hopkins Medicine International – the leading U.S healthcare system in medical activities and technology transfer. As a general hospital, AIH orientates to simultaneously develop specialties including Obstetrics - Gynecology, Pediatrics – Neonatology, General Surgery, Urology – Andrology and Gastroenterology – Hepatopancreatobiliary.  AIH wishes to promote intensive transfer in various medical fields, training, research especially in quality management and operation – Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Linh said.







In the next stage of collaboration, Johns Hopkins Medicine International will continue to support and counsel AIH in the major areas: optimization of patient care procedures, steps of specialty operation and treatment; providing state-of-the-art knowledge and techniques from the US healthcare system, Johns Hopkins Medicine.  The satge 2 of collaboration will be commenced with visits and working sessions by leading experts from Johns Hopkins Medicine at AIH.







Both parties hope that the new stage of collaboration will be closely tightened to create more medical values, aiming to perfect American standard medical services for patients in Vietnam.
