AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL (AIH) ORGANIZES MEDICAL EXAMINATION, DRUG DELIVERY AND GIFT GIVING TO PEOPLE WITH PLIGHT IN LE CHANH COMMUNE - AN GIANG PROVINCE

In the morning on 14/8/2022, the American International Hospital (AIH) has organized an event of medical examination, allocation of medicines and giving meaningful gifts to nearly 200 people with plight in the area of Le Chanh commune, Tan Chau District, An Giang Province. This activity has received enthusiastic support from local residents.
 
In this medical charity visit, PhD.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tien – Board of Management member cum Medical Advisor, American International Hospital (AIH) is the delegation leader along with the participation of more than 30 doctors, pharmacists, nurses and coordinators of the hospital. All machineries, ultrasound, electrocardiogram equipment, medical consumables and medicines are well prepared, ensuring the best service for medical examination and treatment for local residents.









With the spirit of sharing responsibility, giving love, joining hands to support the community, this charity activity is organized by the American International Hospital (AIH) to bring health care to remote areas, directly provide health care for community, especially the elders and children. The program has gone well in the joy and cheer of both local residents and volunteer doctors.  













































Through clinical examination, 70% of 192 total case has been recored suffering from cardiovascular diseases including hypertension, tachycardia, associated with some complications such as myocardial ischemia, cerebrovascular accident, diabetes, ... Besides, 20% of patients have respiratory pathologies and 20% suffer from pathologies such as osteoarthritis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, kidney stones, ... This is the basis for local authorities monitoring and encouraging people to regularly visit and check up at local health facilities for medical advice and timely treatment.
