Additional training:
Specialized training in France and Belgium: Resident at the Urology Department of the University Hospital in Strasbourg, France and graduated from Louis Pasteur University in 1996 under French Government scholarship; Got training in Laparoscopic Surgery at European Institute of Tele Surgery and received a University Diploma from Strabourg Medical University in 2001; Got training in Female Urology in Belgium in 2007.
Completed leadership programs in Hospital Management from FV Hospital, Hung Vuong University (Vietnam), Johns Hopkins Hospital (U.S.).
Currently hold the position of Management Board Member cum Medical Counselor, Ho Chi Minh City.
2003 - 2014: Urologic Surgeon Work at FV Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.
(Deputy Medical Director from 2004 to 2008; Head of Urology Department and President of the Medical Advisory Board from 2009 to 2014).
1989 - 2003: Urologic Surgeon at Binh Dan Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.
Dr. Tien has contributed many research papers in medical journals e.g. Progres en Urologie (France) and the Vietnamese Journals of Medicine and Surgery.

Being an active member of the Vietnamese Nephro-urology Association; The Ho Chi Minh City Nephro-urology Association; American Urological Association; Association Francaise d'Urologie and Societe d'Urologie Internationale.
